About
Hi, I’m Jess - the hands, heart, and perfectionist behind Love Jess.

About Jess
I’ve always believed that the most meaningful moments in life deserve more than just a photo or a memory tucked away in a drawer. They deserve to be held, displayed, and cherished in a way that feels as beautiful as the moment itself. That’s why I created Love Jess, a space where your flowers, your stories, and your milestones are transformed into timeless resin keepsakes.
Every piece I make is handcrafted in my home studio on the Central Coast (NSW Australia) using your real flowers from weddings, funerals, graduations, birthdays, and all the moments in between. I carefully dry each bloom to preserve its shape and colour as best as nature allows, then design a layout that reflects your story before setting it in high-quality resin.
No two pieces are ever the same and that’s the magic of it. Your flowers are unique, and so is the artwork they become.
Whether you’re looking to honour a loved one, celebrate a new chapter, or simply turn a beautiful bouquet into a lasting keepsake, I’m honoured to create something meaningful for you.
Thank you for trusting me with your precious memories.

The Process
1. Place Your Order
Before sending your flowers, you’ll need to place an order for the products you’d like. The pieces you choose determine the best drying method and preparation process, so I can’t accept flowers until an order has been made. Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive instructions for how to send or drop off your blooms.
2. Send or Drop Off Your Flowers
You can post your flowers to me or arrange a local drop-off to Tumbi Umbi. Fresh flowers are ideal, but if your blooms are older or partially dried, I’ll still do my best to preserve them beautifully.
3. Drying the Flowers
Your flowers are carefully placed into a drying agent that gently removes moisture while helping them retain as much shape and colour as possible.
This drying stage takes approximately four weeks, depending on the flower type.
4. Layout Preview
Once your flowers are fully dry, I’ll send you a photo of all your dried blooms along with a rough layout based on the products you’ve ordered. This gives you a chance to see how your flowers will be arranged before the resin work begins.
5. Pouring the Resin
Your flowers are set into high-quality resin over several thin layers. Each layer is poured with care and allowed to cure slowly to achieve a clear, long-lasting finish.
6. Finishing Touches
Once fully cured, your piece is sanded, polished, checked for quality, and then packaged safely for delivery.
How Long It Takes
From the moment I receive your flowers, the full process generally takes 6–10 weeks, depending on drying time, product type, and resin curing.
A Few Things to Know
- Real flowers age naturally over time, even inside resin. Gentle colour changes are completely normal.
- White flowers often dry to a soft cream or ivory tone.
- Some petals may become slightly more translucent as they dry.
- Tiny air bubbles or organic textures can occur due to the nature of real botanicals — they’re not flaws, just part of the piece’s character.
- All resin will naturally yellow slightly over time, especially when exposed to sunlight. I use high-quality resin to minimise this, and keeping your piece out of direct sunlight will help it stay clearer for longer.
All of my products are custom-made to order. Therefore, after payment, there are strictly no exchanges or refunds.
